We are currently recruiting for a (initially temporary) Sales Assistant position (which would become permanent for the right person), which will be every Saturday 8am to 4pm and also regular cover for sickness/holidays in the week. This would therefore ideally suit a retired person as we would need the employee to be flexible and able to work in the week when required. The job would include, but not limited to, selling products in the shop, handling cash, preparation of food products, cleaning, assisting the manager when required, other ad hoc duties. The ideal candidate will be honest, reliable, well presented, polite, eager to learn and able and willing to work at a very fast pace. No prior experience is needed as all training will be provided, although any customer service experience would be an advantage. The position is paid at National Living Wage for those over 25. Uniform will be provided.
